Consisting of Mike Tarry (vocals), Chip Su (guitar), Jeff Meiers (bass), Phil Zepeda (guitar), Eliran Malakov (drums), Stateside has already been featured on Reverb Nation's Top 20 charts for NYC Rock, ranking among huge names in rock such as Eve to Adam, Me Talk Pretty, and Pete Yorn.   Fans of both pop-punk and hardcore will love their sound, which is reminiscent of The Ataris and Blink 182 mixed with the punk intensity of NOFX.

The concept of the new album is a celebration of the life and struggles that come with living in New York City, where the band calls home. "We tried to translate the same 'city energy' into our music, most notably in the track, Make Your Move, which is about the passion New Yorkers have to find opportunities in the town they love," says Su.  The album, much like the every band member, is very focused on making high quality music but definitely maintains a great sense of humor, finishing off the album with a bonus track hardcore-cover of Taylor Swift's, Love Story.

Since the release of their debut EP, The City That Never Sleeps, the band has already landed multiple headlining gigs at some of the most prominent NYC venues including Webster Hall and has played with nationally touring acts like Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, I am the Avalanche, and Burn Halo. The band's 2012 lineup already includes their Album Release Party at Webster Hall Studio (Feb 7th), opening for hard-rockers, August Burns Red (March 24th), and headlining shows at NYC rock hot-spot Sullivan Hall (March 23rd) to name a few.

Stateside formed from the late hardcore band, Beyond Hope Lies. Acknowledging their undeniable musical chemistry, Mike Tarry and Chip Su decided to take their band's break-up as an opportunity to create a new, even stronger band. In late 2010, Tarry and Su began piecing together the band - meshing friends, roommates, co-workers, and drinking buddies. By January 2011, Stateside was born. Since then, the band has been gaining a huge amount of popularity, starting off 2012 with over 49,000 Facebook fans.

"If you like bands like Blink-182, Boys Like Girls, or NOFX, you're going to love Stateside. And if all those bands are not quite your style, still give Stateside a listen, they'll have you off your feet and feeling good within seconds."
