“It's a pop masterpiece with well-crafted songs, surprising arrangements and soaring vocal harmonies”
- Wall Street Journal

“the band crafts amiable rock numbers that are at once sparklingly warm and coolly removed…the music is fresh and compelling.”
- Alternative Press
“With its explosive blend of martial rhythms, dive-bomb guitar chords, and lead singer Sameer Gadia’s emphatic falsetto-to-bellow vocals, Young The Giant’s breakthrough single ‘My Body,’  sounds like the work of a band born to rattle rafters.”
- Spin

“With its fist-pumping beat and shout-along refrain of ‘My body tells me no, but I won’t quit ‘cause I want more,’ energetic alt-rock anthem My Body is shaping up as one of the spring’s best tension relievers.”
- USA Today

“…’My Body,’ is buoyant and joyful, bound to be a party pleaser, but the album is more memorable for its subtler tracks…all rendered in the warm, elastic vocals of Sameer Gadhia.”
- Nylon

“Young The Giant engineers solid songs…with catchy vocals, big guitars, and dramatic buildups to bridled outpourings of emotion.”
- The New Yorker
