March 26, 2013. The most prestigious honor at the Academy of Country Music Awards each year is the Entertainer of the Year. And among this year’s five nominees is Blake Shelton.
Is he “America’s husband” or our “drunk uncle”? He’s certainly one of the genre’s highest-profile (and most well-loved) artists today. And his reputation has only broadened since he became a coach on TV’s The Voice. He’s married to another country superstar Miranda Lambert, and he’s one of the loudest (and funniest) voices on social media.
Oh, and he’s also co-hosting this year’s ACM Awards with Luke Bryan.
