"Science and Faith" is The Script’s sophomore album and proves to be a true testament to the musicality and lyrical ability that the Irish trio possess. The album clearly has a theme; love. Losing it, holding on to it, and reveling in it. "For the First Time" is just one of the album’s catchy pop rock tracks that is sure to be on repeat for teenage girls everywhere, along with "Science and Faith" and "This = Love," an all out love ballad showcasing lead singer, Danny O’Donoghue’s vocal ability.

The London- based group seamlessly includes some hip-hop with the remix of "Walk Away" featuring rap superstar, B.o.B. O’Donoghue’s band mates, guitarist Marc Sheehan, and drummer Glen Powers, are also brilliant on the album, coming together to create a U2 infused with soul music sound.

The band definitely has a way of masterfully mixing upbeat tunes with bleeding heart lyrics about longing and lost love as seen in tracks like "Exit Wounds" and "If You Ever Come Back."  Other songs like ‘You Won’t Feel a Thing’ and ‘Nothing’ are smart mixes of rock and pop that have the makings of radio hits.

"Science and Faith", which came in at number 20 on Billboard’s top Rock Albums list last week, is a well written and reflective album filled with emotion and lyricism that resonates the depth of classic groups that have been around for decades longer.  It seems that The Script has much more to give and are only scratching the surface with their latest endeavor. The band is embarking upon a tour in Ireland and the UK before hitting Australia in April and finally landing in the US in May.
