Sunday, May 1, 2011. "We are Of A Revolution from Rockville, Maryland! And it's a lot different down here in Florida!" O.A.R. lead singer Marc Roberge announces with palm trees and sail boats as a back drop. O.A.R. took the Bank of America Stage at SunFest performing hits to a crowd basking in the sun and in the music that can be described as alternative rock with infusion of reggae. Favorites played from the band's latest studio album All Sides included "This Town" and "Shattered (Turn This Car Around)." With Jerry DePizzo on sax, particularly on songs "Lay Down" and "Wonderful Day," O.A.R. has a sound akin to pioneer reggae/punk seventies band The English Beat.
O.A.R. is touring this summer! Click HERE to find tickets on Ticketmaster.
