Pop Evil

July 7, 2011 OFC met with rock band Pop Evil at Milwaukee Summerfest. Pop Evil's sophomore album "War of Angels" debuted in its first week at number 1 on iTunes for rock. Audio of the interview with photos from the show is available now for viewing on line!
The video montage opening song is acoustic version of "Monster You Made," destined to be a monster hit on the charts. Imbued with passionate, heartfelt lyrics and harmonizing vocals, it represents the crossover of genres which defines the band's name Pop Evil.
When asked about the genesis of "War of Angels," Pop Evil front man Leigh Kakaty tells OFC "I don't think we set out with this record to write a certain style of pain and agony or triumph and victory. We wanted to just write the best songs that the five of us liked. We shaped an album that made sense for our struggles with our war of angels, which is the battle with our angels and demons, juggling our family and friends with our growing band and fans."
