Breaking News: May 17, 2012. It's official according to Ticketmaster. The summer tour dates are off the books for Van Halen. Rumors are swirling about medical issues, including Eddie having hiccups, the band not getting along and poor ticket sales.
The band has pulled the plug on all shows scheduled after a gig in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 26 including stops in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Detroit, Michigan; Cleveland, Ohio; and Salt Lake City, Utah.
They're back! Van Halen has announced a North American tour this year and the line up will include original band members Eddie Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Alex Van Halen along with Wolf Van Halen on bass. Presales and onsales begin this week! The explosive rock band rocked the music wold in the late seventies with their self entitled debut album, spinning out timeless hits "Runnin' With The Devil,""Jamie's Cryin',""Eruption." Their follow up albums brought on "Dance The Night Away" and "Jump." Van Halen is one of the most highly recognizable rock bands of all time and has influenced a whole new generation of bands as mentioned in recent interview with The Devil Wears Prada.
