When a Tennessee woman came across a glittering rainbow in a recycling dumpster last weekend, she was shocked to find that the colorful papers were actually hundreds of unopened letters addressed to Taylor Swift.
“I was like, ‘That’s weird,’” Nashville resident Kylee Francescan told Nashville news station WKRN. “There were like hundreds of letters in there to Taylor Swift and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh!’ I didn’t know if they were stolen [or] discarded, so I threw them in a box. And I’m like, ‘Somebody needs to let Taylor know.’”
The letters were addressed to the pop star’s fan mail address, a P.O. located in a strip mall in Hendersonville, Tenn. According to WKRN, the owner of the strip mall said that someone from Swift’s team comes periodically to collect the thousands of letters she receives from fans around the world every day. March 11, 2013. Lady Antebellum will soon be welcoming another girl to the band.
Hillary Scott’s rep told Us Weekly on March 8th that the singer and her husband, Lady A drummer Chris Tyrell, are having a baby girl.
The little lady might even make a Blue Ivy cameo on the band’s upcoming album, Golden, out May 7. Scott told Electric Barnyard that she wants her baby’s heartbeat to be featured on the record and even knows the perfect song.
“We have this song on our [upcoming] record that’s really sweet and special to us,” she said. “It was the last song we wrote for the record, and it could be about a love relationship, or it could be truly for a parent to a child. So he was like, ‘That would be such a cool way to start that song.’ It hasn’t happened yet, but I’m hoping.” Read more on RADIO.COM

March 11, 2013. This past Saturday marked Justin Timberlake’s fifth stint as host and musical guest for Saturday Night Live, an unsurprising fact given the anticipation surrounding the episode, which was not only the clear best of the current season but also the highest-rated SNL in 14 months. Here’s the highlight reel.
The Kanye Diss
What’s maybe more impressive than the ratings is that Timberlake managed to slyly squeeze a rebuttal to Kanye West’s “Suit & Tie” diss into his performance of the song, changing the lyric “aww, s*** so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit” to “my hit’s so sick, got rappers acting dramatic.” All this plus a Jay-Z assist, and it wasn’t even the high point of the episode. JT would go on to perform second 20/20 Experience single “Mirrors,” but again, it wasn’t even the show’s highlight. Read more on RADIO.COM

March 6, 2013. First it was Train and now Carly Rae Jepsen is standing up to the Boy Scouts of America (BSA)’s anti-gay policy by dropping out of the association’s 2013 National Scout Jamboree, an act the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) thanks her for.
Jepsen tweeted fans this morning, letting them know she was backing out of the July 16th concert in support of the LGBT community.
“As an artist who believes in equality for all people, I will not be participating in the Boy Scouts of America Jamboree this summer,” she wrote. “I always have and will continue to support the LGBT community on a global level and stay informed on the ever changing landscape in the ongoing battle for gay rights in this country and across the globe.
