March 4, 2013. Kanye West has been making news with his European Tirade Tour where he empties his thoughts onstage and unburdens himself of his opinions on life, art, and the perils of being a genius. But for the most part, he simply rages against the machine.

The rants are given prominent placement in West’s sets. He yells, screams and weaves rhymes into his conversation to make his points. In February, he hit London and Paris and he blasted the Academy for not giving what he deemed his fair share of GRAMMY awards. He pointed to race as the issue.

EMMYLOU HARRIS

March 1, 2013. The country world has been waiting nearly 40 years for an album between Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell. Now their prayers have been answered. Earlier this week, Harris and Crowell released their first-ever duets album, Old Yellow Moon.

While in New York for the All for the Hall concert benefiting the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Radio.com caught up with Harris, and she filled us in on just why the duo made us wait so long.

ONE REPUBLIC

March 4, 2013. OneRepublic is a band of five completely different guys, who somehow manage to get along. That’s what artist Willo Perron, who worked on the album art for OneRepublic’s upcoming record Native, said after having one dinner with them.

He was asked to follow the band for three months, to become a fly on the wall and figure out what the common thread was between the guys since they couldn’t for the life of them figure it out themselves. Read more on radio.com and view the interview video.
