August 1, 2012.  Having already mastered music and fashion, Jay-Z is now turning his attention to the video game realm. The hip-hop superstar will wear the hat of executive producer for the upcoming NBA 2K13 and has tapped some close music industry friends to be a part of the soundtrack for the hit basketball platform.

According to a statement, Jay, who will be working closely with 2K13 game developers on menus, intro/outro videos, and other functions, has recruited such rhyme legends as Nas (“The World Is Yours”); Kanye West and his G.O.O.D. Music crew (“Mercy”); Eric B & Rakim (“I Ain’t No Joke”); Too $hort (“Blow the Whistle”); and Mobb Deep (“Shook One’s Pt. II”). Read the full story on CBS Local

July 31, 2012. Taylor Swift‘s romantic life has always been a hot topic. And it appears that Taylor has changed her taste a bit, going from dating actors and singers to being spotted with a member of Camelot.

That’s right–Swift, 22, has been getting cozy with a Kennedy. And not the one that many were speculating about a few weeks ago (Patrick Schwarzenegger). The New York Post reports that Taylor is dating Robert F. Kennedy’s 18-year-old grandson, Conor Kennedy. Read the full story on CBS Local.

July 31, 2012. Fans of the Eli Young Band have been waiting patiently for information on the new baby that’s been expected from lead singer Mike Eli and his wife Kacey, and now that wait is over. Congratulations to Mike and Kacey on the birth of their first child!

Little Kline Olivia Diaz came into the world late Monday evening, weighing in at 6 lbs, 15 ounces. Mom and daughter (and dad) are sleepy, but all doing well. See exclusive photos and read the full story on CBS Local.

July 31, 2012. On Kelly Clarkson’s summer tour with The Fray, the singer has been taking requests from fans on which cover songs she should perform. Recently she even did a stripped down version of Katy Perry’s “Wide Awake.”
