THE FRAY
|
May 6, 2012 West Palm Beach. The Fray took the final stage performance closing out SunFest 2012. Vocalist Isaac Slade was on the move. This evening he did not contain himself behind the piano that produces the signature, mesmerizing sound which defines The Fray. Issac gave hints out in the opening "You Found Me," apologizing to the fans for having to sit behind the piano.
Later into the show, Slade dove into the audience after "How To Save A Life" embracing the fans. The front man found himself running into the walkways to the outer crowds on the lawn; bringing the band, the music and the passion directly to the fans. At one point, Isaac climbed the scaffolding along the perimeter of the South Florida stage. He sang and waved to the audience with exuberance.
The stage boasted high tech video backdrop of the band while they were playing. The visuals created a surreal, multidimensional effect. Fans singing along drowned out the band on songs "How To Save A Life," "All At Once" and "Never Say Never." The show ended with SunFest fireworks and a full moon rising.
