January 25, 2012 West Palm Beach. Front man Mike Eli waves to a crowd of South Floridians after opening the Pepsi Stage of the South Florida Fair with hit "Always The Love Songs." Songs flowing this evening from albums LEVEL, JET BLACK AND JEALOUS and latest LIFE AT BEST have put the Eli Young Band on the fast track as a Nashville favorite.
"Even If It Breaks Your Heart," which is also EYB latest video, was a crowd pleaser along with "Skeletons" both from their newest album LIFE AT BEST. The band added in a righteous cover of Petty's classic "American Girl", Tom Petty is noted on their Facebook page as one of the band's musical influences.
Wednesday night felt like a Saturday night as boots, bluejeans and plaid shirts adorned the crowd of country music fans. Hailed from Denton,Texas, EYB garnered the coveted number one country song on the billboards in 2011 "Crazy Girl." "Crazy Girl", one of the last songs of the evening, got the crowd going crazy as fans were up on their chairs. "Gimme Three Steps" was the foot stompin' encore. Band members hung out after the show for fan meet and greet and photo op!
