December 15, 2011. "King of all Media" Howard Stern announced on his Sirius XM radio program Howard 100 that a deal was sealed for Howard to join "America's Got Talent." Stern would join as judge replacing Piers Morgan. "I'm going to be Piers on steroids" says Stern.  Howard has tremendous clout as the entire show will be uprooted from the West Coast and move to New York where Howard resides.

To fans of Howard's radio show, this should be no surprise as it was a persistent hot topic for Howard over the last several weeks.  Howard known for his raw honesty, quick wit, probing and candid interviews and raunchy, sexually charged antics, chatted openly with his radio fans about his desire to be a serious judge and the public controversy of a "shock jock" on AGT.  Howard himself polled random people in NY about the prospect of Howard judging on AGT and played back the public reaction "Howard's vulgar!"  It was not by accident that Howard invited Sharon Osbourne, co-host of "America's Got Talent," and the cast of "The Talk" to his radio show with discussion rounding to Howard being a "terrific judge" on AGT.

After the announcement, Howard invited callers to comment and extend their congratulations.  One caller asked if the radio show will be dominated with Howard discussing AGT.  Howard responded to paraphrase "Maybe, I don't know.  If I feel like talking about it, that's what I'll talk about". Howard's dog called in to to bark an endearing kudos to his master.  Fans can follow Howard Stern on twitter for his latest tweets on his new network TV spot and whatever else is on the mind of the most successful and funniest media host on the planet.

Legendary rockers STYX--Tommy Shaw, James “JY” Young, Chuck Panozzo, Lawrence Gowan, Ricky Phillips and Todd Sucherman—have teamed up with jewelry designer Diana Warner to create the “Diana Warner for Styx” jewelry collection, which was made available exclusively on the band’s official website styxworld.com on November 11, just in time for holiday shopping.

Each piece is hand-made in Diana Warner’s New York City studio, with prices ranging from $55-$200.  The first items available are eight dog tag necklaces made of 30 inch chains of gunmetal, antique gold or antique silver plate over brass.  The charms are made of pewter and rose gold, gunmetal, antique gold or antique silver.  They’ll also be selling guitar pick earrings available in 4 finishes:  gunmetal, rose gold, antique gold and antique silver, as well as antique gold and silver charms with one of the band’s well-recognized lyrics, “Come Sail Away With Me.”

This is only the first part of the “Diana Warner for Styx” collection.  Multiple styles of limited edition charms will be created in 2012, which will be sold in a small number and will be considered collector’s items.  A full line of “Diana Warner for Styx” jewelry will be made available in 2012.  This is the first collection Diana has designed for a band and collaborated on this project with singer/guitarist Tommy Shaw’s wife, Jeanne Shaw.

“The second we saw Diana’s pieces, we knew we wanted to work with her,” says Jeanne.  “We’re so thrilled to be able to offer something very special to STYX’s fans that’s worlds different than anything we’ve done before.  We hope they love the collection as much as we do.”

December 14, 2011. Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers are excited to announce a series of North American concerts in 2012 prior to embarking on their first tour of Europe in 20 years.

The North American tour includes the band's first ever show at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival where they will headline the first weekend of the annual event on Saturday, April 28.

Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers will also perform in the Canadian provinces of Newfoundland and Nova Scotia for the first time. The band will play in St. John's, NL on June 3 and in Halifax, NS on a date to be announced shortly.

Following the Canadian dates, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers will head to Europe for a tour which includes their already announced headlining performance at the Isle of Wight Festival on June 22. Shows in Ireland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, England, Switzerland, France, and Italy are currently included on the itinerary.
