PETER HOOK & THE LIGHT will return to North America this fall to perform the two landmark albums CLOSER and UNKNOWN PLEASURES from the legendary post-punk group Joy Division sequentially and in full for audiences in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The trek will kick off next week in New York City (Tue. 9.13, Gramercy Theater), and visit major cities including Los Angeles (Wed. 9.14, The Music Box-Closer; and Fri. 9.15, El Rey Theatre-Unknown Pleasures), San Francisco (Sat. 9.17 Mezzanine), Denver (Mon. 9.19 Bluebird Theatre), Boston (Tue. 9.20 Paradise Rock Club), Washington, D.C. Rock Theater originators, Trans-Siberian Orchestra are preparing to light up the road for an eight-month world tour. The tour will showcase their unique combination of story-telling, virtuoso musicianship and over the top production. TSO will rock your winter season, performing the timeless classic "Christmas Eve and Other Stories" in its entirety, followed by excerpts from the upcoming Rock Theater installment "Gutter Ballet and The New York Blues Express."

After a tumultuous year, Chicago-based alternative rock group MADINA LAKE are gearing up for their third album, WORLD WAR III, due out September 13 on Razor & Tie.  The album’s release is preceded by the single “Hey Superstar” and video which premieres today (August 30) via the Guitar World magazine site and: GuitarWorld.com and here at VEVO. The performance-based clip cleverly juxtaposes the song’s ethereal textures which bleed into propulsive guitars before the anthemic hook takes hold. MADINA LAKE teamed with director Andrew Bennett for the video which depicts the group’s DIY attitude and the main concept running throughout WORLD WAR III: survival and triumph through the unexpected curve balls of life.
