Tuesday, January 28, 2014 West Palm Beach. "Swoncert" fever brings on the "selfies" when The Swon Brothers, Zach and Colton, hit the Coca-Cola stage at South Florida Fair.
The hot country rockin' duo caught Blake Shelton's attention as their mentor on hit TV show "The Voice." The guys did a surprise "selfie" fan meet and greet during the show and after!
The country heartthrobs opened up with "Country Feels" announcing to the audience that their set list came straight from fan requests. The band proffered their versatility adding in "Swoncert"-style cover of Joe Walsh classic rock hit "Rocky Mountain Way."
The brothers chatted with the audience about advice from Blake Shelton "be who you are and sing songs true to yourself" as they broke into a tribute to the late, great George Jones.
The band has an affinity for The Eagles and played a righteous version of "Witchy Woman," "I Can't Tell You Why" and "Lyin' Eyes." "Okie from Muskogee" made the set list and was well timed with the Grammy performance of the same song by Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Merele Haggard, and Blake Shelton. The highlight of the evening was The Swon Brothers original song destined to soar the charts "Later On."
Mid show a crowd surfing fan "selfie" commenced as Colton traversed every nook and cranny of the packed venue! The guys came back after the show for a fan meet and greet lasting over two hours. Full set list for both shows can be seen below.
